Class Policies
Class Registration and Cancellation
Please choose your classes carefully. All registrations are final. AllyBeads does not allow transfers;
nor do we issue credits or refunds on class registrations. You may send someone to class in your place. If AllyBeads cancels a class for any reason, you will receive a refund. When a class has less than 3 registered
students the teacher has the right to cancel the class. If this should happen, you will be notified at the phone
number you have provided, and you will have the choice of a refund, or reassignment to another class or time or
your choice (class must be of equal cost, or you can add the difference).
Pre-registration
Pre-registration is required and reservations will not be held without payment in full. Coupons do not apply to
class fees (unless stated directly on the coupon). Registration can be made over the phone with a credit card, in
person, or on our website. Seating is limited and reserved for registered students only. Please do not bring
children or non-registered guests to class.
Class Fees
Class fees reserve your space and pay instructor for her time, training and expertise. Unless noted, materials
and kits are additional.
Minimum Age Requirement
The minimum age requirement for our Kids’ Classes is 10 years old. The age requirement for all other classes is
14 years old.
Class Supplies
In some classes kits are available or supplies are included. Others will require you to choose your supplies prior
to class. If you need help working out color selections, etc, we will be happy to assist you. It is a good idea to
allow approx. 40 minutes before class if you need to select material. Please have all materials ready at the
scheduled class time, as the class will begin on time.
Kits & Materials
If a kit is listed, purchase of the kit is required. Kits are generally not available for purchase until the day of your
class. Kits often come in multiple color-ways and substitutes or "custom" kits are not available. Kits are
generally available in the sample color, but are not guaranteed. In some cases, “kit & materials” are listed to
allow you flexibility in the type of beads you use. You may supplement the kit with your own beads, or purchase
them at the store.
Tools
Tools are NOT provided (unless noted). If you are unsure what tools will be required, please consult store
personnel.
Cell Phones and other courtesies
Please turn your cell phones to off or vibrate mode, and leave the class if you must take a call. Please refrain from wearing strong perfume
to class. The classroom is closed and odors tend to be overpowering. Many people suffer from allergies and asthma.
A Note on Glasses
As with any crafting work, bead-work requires that you be able to see, especially when working with tiny beads, needles, etc. If you need
glasses, bring them! If it’s time to see the eye doctor, that’s not a bad idea either. If you can’t see, you won’t be able to do your best work |
