Beading for Smiles
AllyBeads/Columbus
Continuing the program

In conjunction with the Mason Woods Charitable Foundation, Inc., AllyBeads continues it's Beading for Smiles program. Please help us help the kids in the cancer ward at Children's Hospital. Together, we can bring a smile to their faces and a twinkle to their eyes. Simply donate any bead stash overflow to this cause. You can drop your beads off at AllyBeads Jewelry & Gifts/Columbus (4880 Thompson Road) and pick up your tax deductible form. Our staff will organize the beads and use them as we develop creative beading sessions for these young patients. Don't hesitate...donate today!

AllyBeads would like to say "thanks" to everyone who has donated to this very worthwhile program. Please read the notes below, and of course, continue to donate your extra beads.

From the mother of a young patient:
"As always, my daughter is being treated like a princess at [Children's] hospital. It means so much to have such a caring and compassionate group help take care of our little girl. Today a foundation there donated their time to hold a jewelry party. We were able to make real bracelets with beautiful beads and wire. They were fun and easy to make. It was a great time!"

From our contact at the Nationwide Children's Organization:
"I truly enjoyed being a part of this great experience and enjoyed seeing all of the kids wear their jewelry.  I also appreciate having the ability to use the supplies with our patients who were not able to attend due to room isolation. I wanted to pass along their gratitude as well."

From a Vice President at Children's Hospital:
"Thank you... It is these types of activities that support the morale of our patients and families and it is very meaningful to them for many reasons. Thank you for supporting this activity and bringing enjoyment and a cherished memory to our patients and families."
